I produced countless designs whilst working at AWA. My most notable achievement was working with the Enabling Environments team to create a 176 page book called Adapting Your Home. This is a valuable book is for carers and loved ones of people living with dementia.

The journey involved with designing a large book from scratch changed me as a designer, and a person!

This was a challenging but rewarding project which involved liaising with multiple stakeholders across several locations, consolidating information from many viewpoints and disciplines into a final document.

Multiple phone call queries, hard proofs and revisions resulted in a book which didn’t “eat” the design into the book gutter. I can 100% vouch for Nelson from Optima Press.

Please note: The mockups I use sometimes weirdly warp the design. Please be advised that I’d never stretch a design, and it’s just in the mockup.
